Hernandez trucking & material hauling, inc is a local aggregates-moving, (dirt, sand, gravel, rock, debris and asphalt) transportation company based in las vegas, nevada that is hiring dump truck drivers to join our team. you will be driving a company truck.

requirements:

• class a cdl
• 3-5 years of aggregate and dumping hauling experience. experience is required, with preference given to
drivers with extensive dumping and paving experience.
• most work will be in southern nv, but must be okay with occasional trips within 100 mile radius.

***this is an on-call position: offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of drug screening check.***

schedule:

• day shift
• occasional night shift
• monday to friday

truck driver job responsibilities:

• drive and operate trucks.
• follow instructions; locate and read location and gps maps.
• pre-inspect truck.
• pick up goods and materials, verify loads for accuracy, and deliver them as instructed.
• load and dump cargo.
• paving experience is required.
• responsible for basic vehicle maintenance.
• comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes at all times.
• complete and verify paperwork for accuracy.
• able to pass random drug tests.
• clean driving record.
• no dui/dwi convictions in the past seven years.
• listening and verbal communication skills.
• dependability.
