to be successful for this role you will have experience working within a logistics or operations environment either in a project management or coordination role. you will need to be organised and efficient and enjoy problem solving to ensure smooth delivery. you will enjoy building relationships with suppliers and internal stake holders and will have an assertive and professional approach. some travel to hertfordshire will be required occasionally. company vehicle can be provided.
the despatch managers duties will include:
to work with operations and production with transfer logistics between the two factories
taking responsibility to ensure that project payment plans are kept to and product is only despatched once it is signed off to go.
streamlining and efficiently working with suppliers to ensure the best deals are available to us.
clear communication with customers to ensure they are ready for delivery and understand details around how the delivery will be carried out.
cultivating strong links with delivery partners to ensure impeccable customer delivery experience and maintaining of the brand.
to ensure that safe packing and loading of vehicles with the operational teams and work to improve branding where possible.
