It support technician entertainment law firm century city - united states, losangeles

Jackoway austen is an entertainment law firm with over 60 employees (attorneys and staff). we are looking for a qualified it support technician to set up and maintain computer networks and systems and provide user support to our employees. you will report to the firm’s director of it and assist with installing, configuring, testing, upgrading and maintaining computer software and hardware.

the work schedule is monday through friday from 9:30am - 6:30pm and you will be in the office four to five days a week, depending on in person needs.

our deal candidate will have relevant skills and experience working in a professional environment including:
• excellent communication skills

• excellent diagnostic and problem solving skills

• desktop experience including
o working knowledge of microsoft windows desktop os and mac os
o office 365 suite, particularly outlook
o antivirus/malware
o network troubleshooting basics (tcp/ip, dns, dhcp, etc.)
o network printer installation/troubleshooting

• knowledge of system security and privacy measures including backup and storage systems experience

• server hardware experience (raid arrays, hdd types, redundant psus, etc.) and vmware or ms hyper-v virtualization experience (vcenter, esxi)

• administration configuration knowledge including:
o microsoft office 365/exchange administration
o wireless networks deployment and administration
o recent windows server deployment and administration experience with a variety of roles (ad, dhcp, dns,
file/print server, terminal services, etc.)
o microsoft powershell
