my client is a family run business in fareham who are also now one of the leading manufacturing companies across the entire hampshire region

my client is looking for an experienced manual centre lathe turner to join their growing team as soon as possible

duties included for this role are listed

the successful candidate will need to be trained and time served manual centre lathe turner required for busy hydraulic cylinder manufacturer.

must be able to work from drawings and patterns. experience on xyz protrack mill is an advantage for this role

my clients lathe is 4m long and used to manufacture large hydraulic cylinders, so should not be apprehensive to use this type of machine.

use of fixed and travelling steadies essential, internal, and external thread cutting is a necessity.

proven experience in a manual cnc environment and capable of working to a high standard with our machinery

my client is looking to offer a competitive of salary of 32000 to 33000 per annum
