salary: gbp25,000 - gbp35,000 per annum plus bonus plus company car or car allowance plus a wide range of health & wellbeing benefits

life property construction is a rapidly growing developer within the healthcare sector, that wishes to expand its portfolio of sites nationwide.
part of the glenholme healthcare group, we are responsible for the entire development process, from site acquisition, through design and construction, to maintenance.

working alongside the construction director, you will assist with the development portfolio. utilising the existing network of resources already in place, you will be responsible for creating new leads as well as expanding on those already in place. searching for potential new sites and seeing these through the acquisition and planning phases.
lpc is looking to acquire approx. 6-8 sites a year that are suitable for elderly care homes, apartments, and housing units.
responsibilities will include:
site acquisition
research, investigation, and presentation of possible sites for development nationwide
researching towns and cities defined by the board for development
understanding the planning complexities and policies of the town and advising on potential risks
liaising with local developers, agents, and land owners
travelling to potential sites and identifying the capacity for development and or generating new leads
planning
liaise with the design team to create initial designs for shareholder review
work with the lpc buying team to acquire third-party quotes and reports for the planning application
work with the estimating team to identify a build cost for the shareholders
key attributes:
experience in achieving goals and objectives for a team and seeing projects through to completion.
although prior experience within the development or construction industry would be beneficial, it is not essential.
willingness to learn new skills
good written and verbal communication skills
full uk driving licence
hours of work will be monday to friday 8 am - 5 pm.
the role will be office based but will require regular visits off-site to various locations across the country.
