our client is a leader in finishing, decorating and assembly of automotive plastic components and we are looking for a production planner to join our highly successful team on a permanent basis
the role
our client needs a reliable production planner to take care of the following duties:
monday - thursday 08:15 - 5:00 friday 8:15 - 15:00
analysis of customer manufacturing requirements from orders and schedules in order to assist with the planning process
ordering and scheduling components from customers/suppliers
resolving capacity issues with supplier/customer to best accommodate ours and customer needs
ensuring all transport requirements are in place
liaising with warehousing and despatch
monitor stock levels to ensure accurate production scheduling on a daily basis
planning production processes to ensure best efficiencies
procurement of internal production consumables
collating data for kpis on delivery and supplier performance
excellent communication and customer liaison both internally and externally
ensuring that activities meet with and integrate with organisational requirements for quality management, health and safety, legal stipulations, environmental policies and duty of care
ensuring that all objectives are in line with the company s business plan and objectives
an ideal production planner will hold the following essential skills and experiences:
previous planning experience
experience with being on the phone and highly motivated
excellent it skills
this is a full time direct to hire position with our client

salary: gbp28,000.00-gbp35,000.00 per year
