Cook/chef - united kingdom, aviemore, highland

there is a fantastic opportunity to join the dynamic team at speyside kitchens in aviemore! they are looking for a cook/chef to come on board and work alongside professional caterers and with award-winning suppliers.

functions can range from high-end weeklong residential delivered packages, large informal corporate events and residential events to picnics and river luncheons. everyone at speyside kitchen is involved and the team is of the greatest importance. the sk team is a family.

the main responsibilities include but are not limited to:

working alongside the head of catering on preparation of menus and weekly planning
studying each recipe and gathering all the necessary ingredients
understanding all dietary requirements as they change
cooking/ creating all dishes and foods in a timely
planning, and monitoring food stock to prevent waste and overages

you would be required to work a minimum of 4 days a week and be flexible. normal days of work will be wednesday, thursday, friday and saturday with great flexibility allowing for great work-life balance.
