Housekeeper - private household - employed or self employed - 9 hours/week approx. over 2-3 days - united kingdom, sudbury, suffolk
job responsibilities:
private housekeeper & cleaner
● cleaning house for very house proud employers
● tidying and cleaning bathrooms, bedrooms, dressing room and living areas daily
● keeping on top of general tidying – emptying bins, recycling, dishwasher etc
● polishing & dusting surfaces, pictures & furniture when required
● keeping windows clean inside day to day
● washing & changing bed linens weekly
● washing and ironing laundry. hand washing delicate items
● arranging dry-cleaning to be taken and collected
● preparing fresh juices
● rearranging cupboards and clothes storage
● clearing away, tidying and cleaning the kitchen and rooms where food is eaten to
ensure work surfaces are clean and in good order throughout day
● doing some of the grocery shopping inc. cleaning products
● adding to weekly shopping list for house
● deep kitchen cleans periodically including all pots, pans and oven
● ensuring refrigerator is kept clean and stocked well
● carrying out any other tasks that the employer may reasonably ask
● help assist for occasional parties or when entertaining guests
● no children or pets but occasionally baby sit a few dogs!
qualifications:
● must be trustworthy, kind, hardworking, prompt, house proud and capable to be left
alone getting on with your work
● flexibility is key
● speaking english and having experience in cleaning and housekeeping is essential
● must have a clean driving license
hours & pay:
● roughly 9 hours a week, split over 2-3 mornings a week
● good hourly rate offered to a fully referenced person with previous housekeeper
experience.
