adecco is hiring immediately for an electrical engineer with a local client in santa clara, ca. the electrical engineer performs essential duties with pay starting at $67.00/hour!
key responsibilities:
test, debug, repair, and modify a range of pcbs and systems to support a large system deployment
work with other engineers to manage hardware lab setup, equipment, track pcb debug status and perform simple rework to repair pcbs and systems
perform pcb and system level testing by running diagnostic software and other testing programs
use tracking software to keep records of all prototypes
support manufacturing testing and debug effort of the products (in prototype and production)
resolve hardware/system issues that involve cooperation of cross-functional teams and sites with a collaborative manner
actively provide technical support to sw, fw, qa, field team and customers
participate in schematic/layout/bom review for new electrical design and replacement candidates review for end-of-life, long-lead-time components
requirements:
bs in electrical engineering or computer engineering
at least 2-4 years of experience
experience designing complex pcbs with analog and digital components
electrical engineering experience with medium volume manufacturing, pcba, bring-up, testing and shipping
experience troubleshooting with electrical equipment (oscilloscopes, power supplies, dmms, etc)
previous experience designing embedded systems – experience integrating fpga’s is a plus
experience in testing and debugging of optical systems/optoelectronic assemblies
experience working with a range of detectors and light sources such as pds, leds, laser diodes and related assemblies is a big plus
