like many businesses which have grown through acquisition, we have a number of different hr and payroll systems across the uk and ireland. we plan to replace them with a single integrated solution incorporating 17 different weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls, using mhr s itrent software.

the role

for the sodexo home care division, we are currently seeking an experienced project manager to play a pivotal role in ensuring a complex hr & payroll system is implemented, delivered successfully and to the agreed timescales. working with colleagues from across the home care business, as well as a team of external consultants throughout all stages of the project lifecycle including discovery, design, configuration, testing, deployment and post go-live support.

you will proactively identify risks and communicate issues, ensuring the project remains on track. excellent communication to all levels is required to help provide focus and drive to the project ensuring that all sodexo project group members understand their contribution to the success of the project. deliverables will be measured against a set of key performance indicators (kpis) set within the project plan.

other main duties include:

working collaboratively with colleagues from across the business, as well as mhr s design and implementation team

formulating proposals and suitable strategies for agreement via the correct channels of the project governance.

formulating, organising and monitoring inter-connected activities and dependencies. coordinate cross-programme activities

ensuring all workstream leads understand their role and responsibilities and take accountability for progressing all actions, risks and dependencies.

ensuring the project is delivered on time, on cost and within acceptable risk.

leading on resolving any higher scope issues that are raised across the programme.

develop project governance protocols for documentation and programme archive

build relationships across key stakeholder groups and ensure that mutual positive relationships are developed and maintained throughout the course of the programme

play a leading role in coordinating and facilitating workshops / activities across the group to ensure that project objectives are achieved.

you will be an experienced project manager with a proven track record of:

excellent project management and programme control

proven experience in managing hr / payroll systems projects

can manage multiple priorities effectively

managing complex projects including planning, monitoring, control and reporting

ensuring projects are delivered to the required quality, timeframe and budget

identifying problems, assessing impact, and determining solutions

planning and managing the allocation of resources

ensuring that all deadlines and milestones are achieved

providing detailed cost reporting

strong interpersonal skills

well organised and methodical with high attention to detail

excellent analytical and problem solving skills

strong commercial awareness

desirable:

previous mhr itrent experience

prince2 (or similar) qualified (or working towards a qualification) is desirable but not essential.

applicants must:

be uk or ireland based with right to work in both the uk and ireland.

hold a valid driving licence.
