we are partnered with a global contractor who employ over 300,000 people worldwide. our client are extremely busy all over the uk, and are on the lookout for a quantity surveyor or senior quantity surveyor to join their team in the west to assist on numerous major rail projects.
our client have an excellent development program for all employees and have a modern outlook to flexible working, offering this to all it's employees.
some of the responsibilities may include:
contract administration of assigned contracts
commercial management of various work packages
risk management
cost and value reporting
interfacing and providing commercial advice to other teams including finance, operational and engineering
in order to be considered for the role, the experience required is:
degree qualified or equivalent with quantity surveying experience (essential)
quantity surveying experience within rail or a similiar engineering industry
experience managing multiple packages simultaneously up to gbp5m
experience in a project environment using engineering contracts
confident in building realtionships with colleagues and clients
