requirements
high school diploma or equivalent
forklift certification
effective english communication skills
basic computer skills
basic math skills to perform calculations including conversions.
ability to frequently lift/carry up to 10 lbs.
ability to frequently lift up to 45 lbs.
ability to continuously walk/stand throughout shift.
ability to safely operate sit-down forklift and pallet jack.
preferred
prior warehouse experience performing administrative tasks.
experience in a manufacturing environment.
experience sorting/filtering excel sheets.
experience with outlook. individual will be responding to emails from internal/external customers.
summary of duties
40% of time > performing receiving duties including:
-physically sorting inbound deliveries in designated areas
-receiving raw material including verifying quantity and required documentation is included before handing it over to the quality dept
60% of time> material handling including:
-physically moving material
-pulling expired material
-performing cycle counts
