position overview: operates, maintains, and troubleshoots automated and semi-automated production equipment that produces dental composite.
essential duties and responsibilities:
independently loads and operates machinery and performs changeovers.
completes various quality control tests through the use of computers and/or lab equipment and performs basic checks and adjustments of machinery.
tracks and records various process data such as machine downtime and output.
reads, interprets, and follows procedures including good manufacturing practices (gmps) standards, standard operating procedures (sops), and manufacturing instructions (mis).
performs preventative maintenance to ensure safety, efficiency, and productivity.
adheres to all safety policies and procedures and reports safety hazards immediately.
applies envista business system (ebs) tools including 5s, standard work, kanban, and kamishibai to perform tasks and improve processes.

qualifications:
minimum of 1 year of relevant production experience required. cnc or automation experience preferred.
effective verbal and written communication skills in english required.
ability to follow verbal and written instructions in english required.
basic computer skills including accurate data entry required.
basic mathematical skills including measuring required.
ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with priority on safety and quality required.
high attention to detail required. manufacturing experience in a regulated environment is preferred.
