family description and location

a lovely british couple are looking for a weekday professional and experienced housekeeper to come and look after their weekend residence. the family live in ramsden which is not far from witney. the family have 3 grown up children in their 20’s who visit and small dogs that come with them at the weekend but do not live their in the week. there is a full-time live-in gardener who cares for two cats and some chickens that live on site and there is a part time cleaner to assist with ironing and heavy cleaning of bathrooms etc. the house is well appointed and very easy to keep clean. it is a 5-bedroom country house with a pool house, gym and cinema.

job description

• housekeeping to a high standard and keeping the house immaculately presented at all times

• organising for dry cleaning to be collected (limited handwashing)

• weekly changing of bedlinen, towels etc

• weekly shop on a friday and making sure the house is stocked with all provisions for the weekend

• liaising with the pa

• placing orders on line

candidate requirements

you will need to be an experienced and organised housekeeper who can manage their own day and their own time as you will be working alone most of the time and will not be micromanaged. you will need to be a driver with your own car and have good checkable written references and longevity on your cv as the family are looking for someone long term.

days of work and salary

this is a monday – friday role
8am/9am – 4pm/5pm
up to £38k dependent on experience and skill set
immediate start but will wait for the right person
