a busy social housing contractor seek to appoint a site manager to join them on a permanent basis due to expansion and a rapid period of growth.
they specialise in refurbishments, both internal and external, to social housing properties throughout the region. current schemes include kitchen & bathroom replacements, window & door replacements, fire door installations & more.
reporting to the contracts manager, your duties will be:
requisition of materialsmanaging subcontractorsissuing sub-contractor short term programmesholding regular progress meetingsupdating the construction programmemanaging trades/labour on sitechecking the quality of all plant on sitemanaging h&s on siteattending monthly cost meetingsclient liaisonthe successful candidate must have:
a trade backgroundsmsts, cscs (ideally black), first aida stable and progressive career history
the salary on offer is £40-42k (negotiable for a candidate with the correct experience) + company vehicle or allowance, and package.
