we are seeking lpn's to join our busy psych facility in nashville, tn. this is a direct hire opportunity with wonderful benefits and opportunity for growth. lpn's with all backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

qualifications

licenses or certifications:  current lpn licensure in tn or compact state. current cpr and cpi certifications, or must obtain within two (2) weeks of hire offered onsite.

total education, vocational training and experience:  graduate of an accredited school of nursing.  working knowledge of psychiatric nursing modalities preferred.  documented experience working with children (ages 5-12), adolescents (ages 13-18), and/or adults (ages 18 plus) preferred.

 

skills and abilities:

1. effective oral and written communication skills and knowledge of telephone etiquette is required.
2. ability to interact in a positive manner and to communicate well with patients, families, co-workers, supervisor and other hospital employees.
3. must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
