warehouse associate responsibilities
unloading, receiving, and sorting merchandise
follow specific work instructions and best practices safely and accurately complete daily work
assists with physical inventories and cycle counts, ensuring proper stock rotation
pull and pack orders for customers
maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area
communicate problems, concerns and ideas to management
conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety
perform forklift duties
assist in various warehouse tasks, including sweeping floors, storing equipment, etc.
will also perform other duties as assigned
warehouse associate qualifications
minimum 6 months experience working in a warehouse
must have a reliable way of getting to work on time daily
high school diploma/ged equivalent required
knowledge of and ability to operate a forklift and meet
medium level physical exertion requirements, including lifting to 50 pounds frequently.
experience in warehouse/distribution center is a must.
basic math and reading skills, computer skills to perform job tasks and complete necessary paperwork
ability to follow oral and/or written instruction
we are looking for warehouse associates who are reliable, punctual and safety-minded, with a strong work ethic
you must also work well as part of a team and be willing to work long hours when needed.
