hobson prior are currently looking for a safety medical device specialist to join a fantastic pharmaceutical organisation on a contract basis outside ir35 located in welwyn garden city with hybrid working available. our client is focused on supplying life-changing novel treatments for various illnesses.

please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

key responsibilities:

for this role, you will handle impact examination of new/updated regulatory needs upon the subject.

serve as the main point of contact/representative for medical devices data transformation pre and post marketing procedures and sharing subject matter expertise to shareholders.

perform process evaluations to design and execute process developments.

conduct oversight of service supplier who implement expedited documenting duties.

to agree corrective actions and preventive actions (capas), which you might be accountable for applying, you will recognise root causes of non-compliance.

key skills:

flexible with the ability to manage ambiguity and consistently reprioritise focus on the most impactful work to the shareholders and patients.

able to oversee and prioritise workload.

requirements:

know-how of medical device documenting procedures.

a self-motivated individual who eager to learn and is able to resolve problems.

know-how of the use of pertinent new strategies and technologies such as artificial intelligence for safety data processing.

educated to a degree level in a pertinent discipline, or equivalent work experience.

knowledge of medical device safety and incident documenting preferably in both pre- and post-marketing environment.

former involvement and know-how in a variety of fields such as pharmacovigilance and medical device legislation, global regulations such as ich, eu, mdr & ivdr, gvp modules, fda, etc.

comprehension of the pharmaceutical organisation such as product development and the commercial environment and of swiftly developing customised healthcare setting and ecosystem.

demonstrated ability to guide multifaceted projects in a timely manner, collaborating with a variety of shareholders.
