1st shift assembly position - united states, dayton

skills & experience required:

  • one year of related experience, preferably experience with pcb assembly with higher level assemblies, testing and blueprint reading.
  • 2-3 years of experience in soldering is a plus but not required
  • essential duties and responsibilities:

  • assemble parts in accordance with work instructions, specifications, and/or blueprints.
  • fasten parts together with bolts, screws, rivets, adhesives, or other fasteners.
  • assume active role in ensuring quality results by adhering to work instructions, test procedures, and specifications.
  • report discrepancies in materials or workmanship as they are identified.
  • operate hand and power tools to assist in assembly operation.
  • through-hole and surface mount soldering (training available)
  • circuit board assembly and testing.
  • material handling: complete transactions and other documentation legibly, timely, and accurately.
  • final inspection and pack-out of various products.
  • follow safety guidelines and maintain good housekeeping.
  • meet or exceed established time standards to accomplish daily production goals.
  • ability to follow directions from a supervisor.
  • must be able to manage time efficiently.
