this company is a developing marketplace embedded inside the nhs and has ambitions to extend into the healthcare systems across europe. they partner with over 40 nhs trusts and provide opportunities to engage in research, to consume medical education and for clinical and non-clinical professionals to receive valuable information and content at every point of access across their digital network.

they are at an exciting time of growth and expansion and are seeking to appoint a strategic, creative and experienced data analyst who has delivered outstanding business performance in a dynamic, regulated industry sector.

you will be visionary and pro-active, with a track record of delivering strategic and operational business intelligence, in support of customer experience excellence and development against the overall business strategy.

you will be home based with some uk travel. you will also periodically attend the company's head office in brighton, east sussex.

key areas of responsibilities will include:

- develop the company business intelligence delivery

- ownership and development of the company data assets and reporting outputs in line with strategy, both internally and externally

- ensure a high standard of data quality is achieved to minimise business risks

- resolve technical data issues and incidents

- manage/develop relationships with key external stakeholders

- key contributor to functional projects

- ensure all projects are compliant with legal and regulatory requirements

key attributes, competencies and experience:

- track record in managing large data assets, developing high quality analysis and reporting analytics

- experience and creative analytical and technical data manipulation skills

- ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-faceted start-up atmosphere and oversee multiple projects and tight deadlines

- excellence in engaging, motivating, and fostering relationships externally and internally

- experience with generating reporting interfaces

professional experience and education:

- bachelor's degree in scientific discipline

- minimum 3 years business intelligence, ideally in healthcare or life science/pharmaceutical industry
