as a material handling specialist at a local client you will examine, sort, arrange, count, store, pick, and pack items for storage and/or shipment in accordance with established procedures and customer requirements. primary responsibilities include:

receive materials and finished goods daily

verify the quality, type and amount of materials received are correct and that the appropriate documentation is present (packing list)

operate semi-automated equipment in the production of filling small and medium bottles

complete all batch records and manufacturing documents according to quality systems standards as required

 

preferred qualifications:

material handling specialist jobs require 1 - 2 years of related picklist and material handling experience

high school diploma or ged required

basic computer and documentation skills required

must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.

 

the starting pay rate for material handling specialist jobs is $15.50/hr., plus overtime as needed. we have multiple shifts available and can help you choose the best shift to fit your schedule!
