Cafe chef / assistant / barista - united kingdom, haywards heath, west sussex
we are looking for two new team members to join our vibrant cafe family at tory's café in the park
in the first instance we are recruiting for two part time positions to cover 2/3 days a week, including weekends. however hours could be increased to full time for the right applicants.
1. cafe chef (weekdays and weekends)- responsibilities will include cooking our brunch, and lunch menu items to order. baking homemade cakes, scones and tray bakes. managing prep and stock levels, maintaining a clean and organised work space and adhering to all food safety guidelines. this could be an exciting opportunity for someone to be creative in the kitchen.
2. barista/ cafe assistant (weekdays and weekends)- responsibilities will include serving customers with a smile! preparing hot and cold drinks including coffee. taking orders, clearing tables and washing up. must be available on weekdays.
the ideal applicants will have experience working in a fast paced brunch kitchen/ coffee shop and have a personable and can-do attitude.
although experience is ideal, training can be provided.
we are a hard working but fun team, free meals on shift and free parking nearby.
both permanent positions.
