Home care worker - united kingdom, harrogate, north yorkshire

here at blossom home care we are looking for home care workers that want to make a difference. you would be looking at covering harrogate / ripon and surrounding areas. fantastic hourly rates plus 45p a mile mileage allowance and other benefits and incentives. although you may do a 50 minute visit you would still be paid for the full hour!

you would be working for a home care brand that prides itself on making a difference. undertaking visits at a minimum of 50 minutes to individuals in their own homes this will take the pressure off you to give you time to interact and build a proper relationship with them. so if you are a positive, motivated, enthusiastic and caring person we are looking for you.

the role:

packages that will consist of anything from companionship, personal care, medication to shopping and domestic chores the list is endless - here at blossom we support the individual with what ever they require that is safe to do so. there would be a range of morning, lunch, tea and bed calls etc. we also support individuals that are at the end of their life to help give them the best quality of life we can.

excellent communication and organisational skills are needed and also to be a good problem solver. the ability to work well as a team and also alone is needed. you must be compassionate and able to work to a very high standard.

must be able to work every other weekend.

essential:

full driving licence preferred , own car preferred and appropriate business insurance.
