due to our continual growth and future planned increase in turnover and workload; we now require a new operations manager as part of our planned restructure.

- ensure the efficient planning and running of the engineering team
- manage & evolve existing key accounts team & service team personnel
- develop & grow general administrations team
- provide & implement departmental budgets, financial and growth reports
- agree & ensure team kpi's are met
- drive procurement, processes, and training
- ensure we deliver a quality service and product to all customers
overview of what's involved?
- working closely with our resolute management team to ensure that the company remains profitable, meets targets, continually strives to improve in all departments and still maintains a family business ethos at its core
- participate in the design & implementation of the company's strategic plan (including specific targets & performance measures).
- business continuity - providing monthly updates on sla's, service contracts, customers etc.
- business growth - providing monthly departmental reports on budgets & performance. develop ideas for improved efficiencies and growth areas
- management of office & engineering staff including training, quality control, h&s etc.
- participate in decision making, governance, & leadership across the business
- ensuring sla's & kpi's are set, understood, met, and sustained.
- oversee labor planning for all works ensuring workload and workforce match output required
- develop operations manager role as business growth demands
who are you?
- have a "work to completion" mindset
- 3-4 years+ experience in similar operations or management role
- powerful sense of organisation and ability to manage priorities among several tasks performed in parallel
- excellent communication skills and ability to develop interpersonal relationships with individuals at all company levels
- be able to build strong team relationships
- ability to effectively learn and acquire new knowledge and skills
- experience of working in a fast-paced and time sensitive environment
- competent skills in word, excel, powerpoint etc.
- proactive and flexible approach to workload
- enthusiastic, positive, and highly motivated attitude
- have a good focus on attention to detail
- dynamic personality with a will to succeed and improve
