Dairy farm worker with accommodation - united kingdom, randalstown, county antrim

talented person wanted for a full time livestock person role, immediate start.

part-time work also available, also occasional relief milking.

spring calving dairy herd, modern facilities and machinery.

working week is monday to friday (flexible 8 hour shifts), 40 hours per week, with no weekend work.

essential skills:

milking and washing duties.
calving.
calf rearing, both bucket and computerised feeder.
feeding
some machinery work both in the yard and fieldwork.
understanding of grassland management skills as part of a rotational grazing plan.
record keeping.
other tasks will be transferred as the person is trained.

personality traits:

highly motivated.
able to work on own initiative.

good communication skills.
punctual and reliable.
