maintenance manager required to work at care home in paisley. we have experience of more than 20 years in the care of elderly people. nightingale house is a 41 bed care home for older people in the heart of paisley that is over two buildings, a beautiful sandstone c-listed building and a modern extension. we are looking for a team player who has a genuine passion for the role advertised.
the role will entail:
maintaining a high standard of environment within the home and the external grounds
addressing maintenance issues as they arise
plan and deliver a rolling refurbishment program
carrying out and documenting health and safety checks
carrying out and documenting fire safety checks
liaising with and coordinating with external contractors to deliver projects safely, to a high standard and on time
skills you will bring to the role:
having a trade skill i.e. joinery, plumbing, electrical, etc. is a preference
extensive experience in dealing with daily maintenance and diy is essential
must enjoy decorating and day to day maintenance of buildings
self-motivated
ability to prioritise and plan tasks
full driving licence
job type: full-time

salary: £10 - £12ph
schedule:
monday to friday (8am-4pm) weekend and evening availability for emergencies
experience:
maintenance: 3 years (preferred in a care home environment or similar)
