we have an excellent new opportunity for a private chef to work for an uhnw client at their private residence in gstaad, switzerland. this is a permanent role, working to a rota schedule and so your working days will be 3-4 weeks on and 3-4 weeks off.

the family doesn't follow any special diet and mostly enjoy simple, healthy foods (mediterranean-style cuisine), prepared using fresh, organic and high-quality ingredients, however they are keen to find a high calibre chef who is inventive and experimental, who can also blow them away with something really special and more luxurious.

the ideal candidate will have a background working with uhnw clients in a private setting, will have a good range of food knowledge, with lots of creative flair and have a friendly committed attitude to work.

duties include:

• menu planning and organising the kitchen

• prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner

• cooking for household staff

• cooking for guests when the family entertain

• travelling with the clients during your weeks on

requirements:

• experience working in private household environment

• excellent repertoire across a wide range of cuisines

• a good understanding of top cooking techniques seen in high end restaurants

• impeccable food plating and presentation skills

• fully vaccinated

• flexible and able to adapt to last minute changes

• high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene

the accommodation provided is a lovely ensuite bedroom within the staff chalet, close to the clients property.

salary: £350 - £450 per day (you are paid for the days you are working). candidates can be self-employed or added to payroll.

days: rota schedule: 3-4 weeks on / 3-4 weeks off

hours: 12 hours per day
