as a forklift driver at our client site, you will work as part of a team to achieve daily goals. primary responsibilities include:

pick merchandise to be shipped using powered equipment (reach trucks, cbl (counter balance lifts) and walkie pallet jacks)

unload and properly handle inbound/outbound merchandise

secure merchandise properly to allow for safe movement through the distribution center

verify articles received against corresponding paperwork

note any discrepancies to ensure 100% inventory accuracy

remove and properly document all damages found or caused on inbound/outbound merchandise

properly store/stage all pallets in assigned locations

maintain a clean and safe work area in all locations within the distribution center

other related duties as assigned

 

preferred qualifications:

high school diploma or ged

valid driver’s license

1-2 years of related experience

ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

 

the starting pay rate for forklift driver jobs is $16.00 - $17.00 per hour, plus overtime as needed.

 

shifts available:

7:00am-3:00pm

3:00pm-11:00pm

11:00pm-7:00am
