are you an exceptional metalworker with hands on experience in a supervisory role, located in the north east? we're working with a luxury furniture maker and architectural metalworker who work with an international client base. they are an ambitious organisation who are passionate about the industrial heritage of the region, which plays a key role in inspiring what they do.
the role comes with an attractive salary of up to £45,000 for the right individual and the opportunity to become a key player in a quickly growing design brand.
this role will be the companies lead metalworker, managing a workshop of 5-10 staff and ensuring quality standards. you will be working across:
standard product range sold on the websitearchitectural metalwork such as panneling, hardware and reception desksbespoke projects - commissioned work such as furniture, artwork and mirrors
in the first few weeks in the role you can expect to be:
attending and contributing to weekly production meetings, project kick-offs and project close meetingsworking with the design and management teams to negate any risks for the project and manufacturestudying production drawings and ensuring the correct manufacturing techniques are usedmanage and lead the 5-10 string workshop team
