the general labor position performs tasks involving physical labor in producing prefabricated concrete walls. the position may operate a variety of hand and power tools and may build forms, assemble stud cavities.

job functions & duties:

build forms to prints.

build and install window and door openings

assemble wall studs using styrofoam, galvanized metal and steel rebar.

finishes concrete utilizing a variety of flat work tools.

maintains a clean work area: picks up all tools and equipment and secures work area each day to eliminate potential hazards.

performs materials handling.

ensures that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed. brings problems to the attention of the lead person, plant manager or hr manager

requirements:

basic math skills

able to read a tape measure within 1/16th of an inch.

able to communicate with co-workers.

previous concrete work experience preferred.

able to shovel, rake and handle other small tools.

self-motivated and able to work without direct supervision.

ability to stand for long periods of time

dependable transportation

team players with good work history and attendance

hours are from 8pm to 5 am
