the profile

the successful maintenance manager will ensure smooth running of the ppm part of the business, within the engineering function. you will have extensive manufacturing experience in the fmcg sector, ppm implementation and management skills, ensure kpi's are met and communicate with internal stakeholders of any issues. the maintenance manager will also have practical experience of overseeing ppm schedules, quality and waste.

the role

the maintenance manager will report into the site engineering manager and be responsible for:

strong leadership, man management and support

projects

forecasts and improvement plans

manage any down time issues using ppm

distribution of work load to the team

first and second line management

appraisals of the staff

adhering and delivering on kpi's e.g. planned maintenance, health and safety and quality

providing technical leadership - guiding the team on a proactive approach to preventing equipment failure
