adecco is currently assisting a local company in their search for biotechnician-production. this is a temporary to hire position for the right candidate. the pay rate is $16.82/hr. as a tissue process technician, you will carry out manufacturing practice in a gmp biotechnical facility. you would be manually processing porcine urinary bladders to collect raw materials to packaging of the final product. other functions are but not limited to:
-collection of raw materials
-rinse and clean raw materials
-separation and removal of unwanted tissue
-disinfection
-prepare of storage and cleaning solutions
-document and track materials
-process raw materials for final product
-operate special equipment
-cross train as needed
required qualifications are :
- high school diploma/ged
- similar experience preferred
- great work ethic, dependable and punctual
- able to work both in a group setting and independently
- flexible and adaptable to changing assignments
- working knowledge of gmp and iso standards preferred.
- lift up to 40 pounds
- standing for two hours or more; sitting for two hours or more
- ability to work with raw materials (porcine bladders)
- ability to properly apply and remove sterile gowning
- repetitive motion of wrists, arms and hands
