Focused ion beam (fib) technician - united states, portland

adecco is hiring immediately for fib technicians with a local client in portland, or. fib technicians perform essential duties with pay starting at $22.00/hour, plus available overtime. in this role, you will be responsible for preparing tem samples using automated certus dual beam fib tools and sample lift-out tools and transferring samples to tem grids for analysis.

requirements:

bachelor’s degree in engineering, chemistry, physics, etc. or a combination of education and 2-3 years’ experience as microscopy lab technician

hands-on operation of fib and/or sem preferred; part time students will be considered

must be a team player and interact in a positive fashion with peers and customers

must be able to work in a fast-paced environment where priorities may change often
