Vendor payables coordinator - united states, san jose

adecco staffing is assisting a client in their search for a vendor payables coordinator. this opportunity is remote opportunity.  candidate must be proficeint with computers, microsoft applications, and ideally has experience with smartsheets!
 

hours: 8:00-5:00pm pst (flexible based on location)

pay: $23/hr

primary duties and responsibilities:

process supplier invoices received to payables system

reconcile supplier discrepancy at time of payment and send necessary discrepancy letter to supplier with detailed explanation

respond to vendor questions and in a timely manner

support all questions coming from reservation/travel advisors

create/maintain vendor profile in accounting system

process refunds and commission discrepancy in an accurate and timely manner

other projects assigned by supervisor

 

required experience and skills:

1 year of experience in financial operations

strong problem solving skills and ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment

demonstrate solid verbal and written communication skills through correspondence

good computer skills and experience with excel, word, and outlook

outstanding relationship and customer service skills

flexible and adaptable: candidate should be able to switch gears in various high-stress situations and apply themselves to quickly learning new technologies and adopting new methodologies.

attention to detail: candidate should pay attention to detail and take great pride in getting it right

demonstrate a strong work ethic and team commitment to achieve department goals
