the supply chain operations manager will be responsible for leading supply chain operations, planning, strategy, as well as materials management, inventory control, procurement, and production scheduling.
responsibilities include but are not limited to:
leading supply chain operations and activities for assigned business group, including managing all raw, wip, and finished goods inventory, planning, procurement, and production scheduling.
providing leadership and direction to a team of employees, training, mentoring, and overseeing individual and collective performance.
counseling leadership and department heads on supply and inventory as a part of the sales demand planning processes.
analyzing inventory and supply chain data to evaluate performance and resolve issues, execute audits and modifications when necessary.
maintaining strong working relationships with suppliers and other business partners.
qualifications
bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management or related field.
10+ years of related experience in supply chain operations, purchasing, inventory control, materials management and scheduling.
5+ years of experience leading and managing teams and projects.
experience utilizing siop process (forecasting, capacity and resource planning, cash flow, and inventory levels).
expertise with sap erp system or similar.
apics certification preferred
must be able to travel up to 10% of the time
