who you'll be supporting: in bicester, we support eight people who live together across two homes in the same street

shifts: days, evenings, sleep-ins (1-2 shifts per week), alternate weekends

the role

in the beautiful, historic market town of bicester, dimensions extends its pioneering, award-winning deferential, personalised care, emotional support and galvanizing encouragement and empowerment to eight people who live together across two homes in the same street. it'll be your duty to work in partnership with your new colleagues (and the families of those we support) to help them continue living their best lives - the lives that they would love to live.

home 1 - this is a very peaceful, sensory-oriented home; you'll find no tv here! the people we support require full, intimate personal care, mobility assistance and support in preparing meals and administering peg tubes. whilst each person has their own hobbies, aspirations, and dreams, everyone in the home enjoys music, massage, reading and playing with toys.

home 2 - this is a very lively household where the people we support are always up for anything! in particular they enjoy going shopping, visiting the cinema, having a sing-song at the karaoke, and going away on day trips. like with the other people we support on this street in bicester, the individuals here also require full, intimate personal care, prompting, mobility assistance, and support in preparing meals.

your duties

as our newest team member, you'll be responsible for:

proactively empowering and encouraging the people we support to live their best lives - the lives that they choose to live. you'll achieve this by being sincerely and enthusiastically engaged in every aspect of their lives - day or night

provide them with personalised emotional support and reassurance

present bespoke, attentive prompting and personal care, mobility assistance, and mealtime support as/when required.

safeguard the people we support at all times by ensuring they're always happy and comfortable, and that the environments they're in are always tidy, sanitary, and free form risk.
