Live-in domestic couple - united kingdom, alresford, hampshire

our clients are seeking an experienced, full-time, live in domestic team couple, to partner with an existing domestic couple. they will also work with other household team members, including a house manager, chef, nanny, and 4 gardeners.

the family consists of 2 principals, who have 4 children aged between 9 and 16. the residence based in ropley, hampshire is used for weekends, holidays, and during christmas.

the following responsibilities would be shared between the couple:

housekeeping such as changing light bulbs, changing plugs, and cleaning internal windows
cleaning outside areas/furniture
serving the family both informal & formal dinner settings
driving the principals when required
assisting with overseeing the contractors
daily housekeeping
wardrobe management
washing, laundry, and ironing to a high standard
checking stock levels for housekeeping supplies
assisting the chef with washing up, preparing light snacks, juices and smoothies
cleaning and assisting with a special collection of cars (vintage and supercars)
ad hoc tasks and errands as required

couple requirements:

will work well in small team, and who both take pride in their work
hardworking, like to produce results, hands-on, good eye for detail, diligent, and reliable
able to follow instructions and use initiative
a couple who likes to contribute - striving for perfection
a good level of both written and spoken english is preferable
one of you must be a very confident driver
dbs check will be required
dependants and pets will be considered

accommodation: 1-bedroom, split level accommodation away from the main house. includes, kitchen, bathroom and living room.

days/hours of work:

monday - 8:00-16:30
tuesday - 8:00-16:30
friday - 10:30-21:30
saturday - 13:00-22:30
sunday - 12:00-21:00

salary: £75,000-£80,000 gross doe

start date: flexible
