Trade counter customer service assistant - united kingdom, eynsham, oxfordshire
due to continued growth, oxon fastening systems currently have an exciting opportunity for an additional counter assistant to join our small but dedicated team based at oakfield industrial estate in eynsham. we are looking for someone who wants to work hard and has a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
we are looking for someone who will:
always provide excellent customer service, both in person and over the telephone. using the knowledge you will gain here, plus the support of your colleagues, you will assist and advise our customers on the choice of products available that suit their requirements.
work in conjunction with our warehouse team to ensure that customer orders are correctly picked and put for delivery.
take pride in your workplace and maintain stock levels, tidy shelves and ensure our stock is where it is meant to be. you will need to be able to work well with others as you will assist the warehouse staff with putting away stock deliveries.
be able to work well under pressure.
desirable, but not essential:
some knowledge of fixings, fastenings and/or door & window hardware.
retail or customer service experience.
starting salary of £27,000, negotiable dependant on experience.
hours: monday - friday, 7.30am until 6pm
no weekends!
