ote £40,000+ per year - bonus paid over budgeted food margin of 65%

live in accommodation

about the role

we have an immediate opportunity to for an experienced manager/management couple to oversee the running of the star inn.

utilising your sound management skills and catering industry experience, this role will require you take on the day-to-day running of the business. you will be expected to roll up our sleeves and get involved in all bar operations and face-to-face customer service.

this is a very hands-on role and other aspects of the position will include assisting with the sales and marketing strategy, including utilising social media to raise awareness and encourage further sales.

as part of a long-standing team, you will be required to supervise, manage, and train staff members whilst working alongside them to continue to exceed customer expectations and build on the success of the business.

you must have the following skills and experience:

previous experience of working in a small but busy pub/ hotel in a hands-on way
excellent customer service and staff communication skills/team player
good it skills and experience of using social media as a promotional tool
high degree of business acumen and a strategic thinker
ambition to take on the challenge of a partnership and management role
ensuite letting rooms
