we are seeking a licensed social worker to join our team as a school social worker/site manager in the indianapolis, in area! you will be responsible for connecting students to a programs and services to address student needs, collaboration with school staff, and engaging families to support the educational emotional and personal development of children.

- connect students to a range of prevention, early intervention and intensive services programs that address the physical, emotional, cognitive, and social development of each student.
-develop and enhance community partnerships with varied community agencies to meet the identified needs of students, families, and the school.
-collaborating with school staff, including classroom teachers, to implement the city connects model.
-engaging families and caregivers to understand and support the education of children and the ways in which academic outcomes are enhanced by serving the social / emotional and personal development needs of the child.
- working with community partners, to arrange the provision of services to address out of school factors as part of the ongoing school student support team.
-collecting data on the implementation of the model and the delivery of services.
- evidence of culturally competent practices. ability to work collaboratively with a diverse staff, a diverse student body and families, as well as a team of professions ab both the school and the university.
minimum qualifications:
- master’s degree in school counseling or social work (or another human services field)
- experience working in a school environment
- experience in case management and related strong organizational skills
