Gas engineer - united kingdom, studley, warwickshire

red rock consultants are working with a leading midland based company that specialise in the mechanical and maintenance of commercial heating.

due to continued growth my client is looking for experienced commercial heating/gas service engineers to join their team. my client specialises in the service, maintenance and installation of commercial heating and hot water systems for our expanding client base throughout the midlands.

key points of the job role:

service and maintenance in line with manufactures guidance and gas safe regulations

reactive and emergency call outs

completing remedial works

fault find and diagnose faults on a wide range of commercial plant and systems

communicate with suppliers to obtain costs for spares

complete detailed reports and gas safe documents via pda

the ideal candidates will have the following:

experience essential within the commercial heating industry

hold the relevant acs and gas safe commercial qualifications

basic controls and electrical knowledge required

ability to work independently and as part of a team

self-motivated with a desire to deliver a high standard of work at all times

as the face of the company, you must have good communication and customer service skills. the ability to communicate with customers and suppliers regarding faults and parts required. be friendly, approachable and courteous at all times.
