Business development manager - united kingdom, newmarket, suffolk

our client is a global player in the value added software distribution market who have a strong customer base throughout the uk being a valued and longstanding member of their supply chains. they provide complex and innovative technology solutions from market leading suppliers for their clients to deliver to the end user throughout a large cross section of industries.

they are looking for ambitious business development managers to join their team and drive revenue and sales with new and existing partners. you will be required to hit and exceed sales targets and offer excellent customer service to your client base. responsibilities include:

face to face and virtual product and sales presentations

relationship building and account management with a set portfolio of clients/vendors

identifying and capitalising on sales opportunities

ownership of sales target

cross selling

mentoring juniors

uk travel

required skills/experience:

experience in a client facing b2b or b2c sales/business development role

able to work autonomously

engagement with senior business leaders

agreeing contractual terms

worked in a structured sales environment

professional sales approach

preferred to have experience selling software/technology/professional services

passion for technology

consultative sales style

gbp30,000 basic salary + commision

this role will be based from their offices in newmarket/harrogate and in the field
