Fabrication technician - united states, janesville
adecco is currently hiring for a 1st shift fabrication technician role located in janesville, wi. this can be a temp to hire role. pay starts at $17.50/hr.
job duties include:
fabricate fittings to customer specifications using customized fabricating equipment, hand, power tools, adhesives, and fixtures.
obtain components from stock/production.
set-up equipment to match to requirements.
works as a team member.
inspect completed parts.
prepare parts for shipping, by placing them in boxes or on pallets. maintain reports for man-hours and inventory control.
correctly label all parts and boxes as needed.
visually inspect all incoming pipe and gaskets for defects.
complete all production reports.
qualifications include:
hsd/ged
ability to lift 50lbs
ability to work 5:30am-2pm with overtime as needed
experience with:
forklift
basic hand tools
utility knife
power tools (hand drills, grinders and jig saws)
inspection tools and gauges
check pipes
measuring tape
micrometer
