we are looking for a production supervisor to join our ever growing team to lead staff and manage processes in the factory and ensure that all products meet quality standards and are made in the correct order to support the daily customer delivery schedule.

a. to ensure that all scheduled work is produced to the agreed quality standards and all quality procedures are adhered to including ncr s, root cause analysis, closing of customer complaints. work collaboratively with quality to reduce both internal/external copq costs.

b. implement a "right first time" and "internal supplier and customer" culture and use ncr data to systematically drive down remake costs.

c. work alongside maintenance to ensure that production machines are properly maintained and in full working order, compliant with h&s requirements and risk assessments, and to minimise downtime.

d. to ensure that production is carried out in the correct order to meet customer demand requirements, liaising with the sales office as required.

e. to maximise efficiency through managing labour effectively and efficiently, ensure flexibility and cross functional teams across both processes and products.

f. reduce operating and labour costs through control of overtime ensuring that justifications are raised when overtime is required and the expected outcome is achieved.

g. to effectively lead the production teams ensuring that each member knows his/her task and is appropriately trained and equipped to carry them out safely. in particular ensuring that all prescribed ppe is worn by yourself and anyone in your production area, at all times

h. to work closely with operations support and ensure that they are informed of all stock requirements such as recuts and additional production to ensure a smooth continuous work-flow.
