we are currently looking to hire a talented service coordinator professional to join our busy service team.
about the customer service coordinator role:
as a service coordinator, you will work supporting our customers alongside our engineers responding to corrective and planned preventative maintenance services, and providing a high level of customer service. within this position you would be at the forefront of our operation, with that in mind it is imperative that you have excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
in addition to this you will be responsible for:
contacting customers via telephone to arrange engineer visits (good telephone manner essential). prioritise, schedule and record corrective and planned preventative maintenance activities. receive incoming enquiries from customers. respond to customer service calls. plan and allocate customer corrective callouts to regional field engineers. log preventative maintenance into our management information system, ensuring that call details are accurate and reflective of call type. monitor and follow up requested information - liaise with customers, service, and sales teams. escalating major issues to the service manager. assist with the day to day running of the administration department if so required.
to be successful in this role you should have:
essential experience:
experience in customer services environment working to timescales essential. computer literate, preferably with experience in ms office including outlook, word, and excel. experience in the use of customer databases advantageous. good general knowledge of geographical locations within the south of england. experience of working in a team environment. ability to adapt and be flexible within the position.
it would be great if you had:
experience of service support in maintenance services advantageous but not essential.
