type: fulltime (40 hours / week) length: no end date, indefinite contract, continuously work onsite as a fulltime contractor
pay: $19.00 an hour
shift/hours: 8am to 4:30pm
responsibilities for this lab technician job in cincinnati, oh include, but are not limited to: personnel must be able to perform daily lab operations including instrument operation and calibration, sample preparation, data processing, inventory control and daily cleaning and maintenance of laboratory. basic lab skills are necessary
requirements:
effective time management
good communication skills
attention to detail/good observational skills
able to perform laboratory textile analyses and/or instrumental test procedures using standard and other detailed methods of analysis and then calculate and report results
maintain accurate records and documentation and assure the reliability of measurement systems by using appropriate glp qualifications for this lab technician job. proficiency with excel crucial to success in this position.
have or obtaining a bs degree in biology (or related discipline) with zero (0) to 1 year of experience in a laboratory environment. or have 15 years’ work experience in relevant experience.
must be thorough with the methods and techniques and produce accurate and timely analytical results
must be willing to learn r&d testing methods and perform sample testing as directed by lab manager. must be a quick learner, flexible, and able to multitask
