we are looking for a housing outreach officer to join our housing outreach team. working out in the community, you will support our most vulnerable customers to sustain their homes and prevent homelessness, making a real difference to those who need us most.
you will be responsible for supporting customers with online housing applications, completing assessments to identify any support needs they may have, and liaising with relevant agencies across the city to ensure this support is put in place.
you’ll need to be organised, solution focused, and be able to “think outside the box” to help our customers with a variety of circumstances. you will have excellent interpersonal skills and a positive can-do attitude, demonstrating our company values every day. you will have the ability to establish excellent rapport with a wide variety of people and a good understanding of the housing allocation policy would be helpful.
this is a fast paced and varied role where no two days will be the same, but every day you will be making a real difference.
