salary: £35,000 - £45,000

mon – fri, 9am – 5.30pm (with flexibility)

as a part qualified accountant you will be providing essential support to our team of specialists and helping to deliver our first class service to our clients.

what will you be doing?

supporting and leading the accounts prep team serving our small business accounts, providing leadership and guidance
check and sign off bookkeeping & reconciliations and vat returns with recommendations and improvement
production of published accounts and corporation tax returns for sign-off by senior management or co-director
implement standards and processes across the firm to enhance efficiencies within the practice
drive and support the introduction of improved digital technology throughout the practice
provide training and guidance on how to correctly use cloud software
work closely with the directors and senior management in building the practice across a variety of brands in line with long-term plans
involvement with the initial client consultation



is this for you?

are you qualified aat or have an accountancy degree, and part-qualified acca/cima/acaew?
do you have 3 years’ experience of accountancy and tax working in an accounting practice or in a finance function within the private industry sector?
do you exude positivity, energy and passion while being approachable, a good listener and a clear communicator?
can you dig deep into the numbers of a business and quickly spot discrepancies and areas of concern?
could you lead, inspire, train, and support other members of the team to deliver a quality service to our clients?
is building a great rapport with clients and trusted 3rd party providers something you could embrace and deliver?
are you willing to travel occasionally to meet with clients locally and in london and attend training events and if so, do you have a driving licence?
