excellent opportunity for an experienced service manager to join a well-established business based in leamington spa.

the company:

they are an independent garage with over 35 years’ experience offering a wide range of services including mot testing, servicing and general repairs such as suspension, steering, driveshafts, brakes, tyres, exhausts, batteries, etc. as well as diagnostic work, engine repairs, cam belts and clutches, etc.

role and responsibility:

the service manager job role would include (but not be limited to): managing a team of two technicians (mot tester and technician), organising workload, operating workshop loading system, dealing with customer enquiries in person and by telephone, quoting for repairs, selling labour hours available via customer bookings, accurately recording faults with vehicles/completing job sheets, referring to service histories, obtaining authority for repairs, parts management, creating invoices, obtaining payment before releasing jobs, etc.

all candidates must hold a valid uk driving licence. they must be able to maintain exceptional quality while meeting targets and also liase with managers, co-workers and customers.

hours: monday to friday 8.30am to 6.00pm.

benefits include:

competitive salary up to £31,000 per annum depending on experience + performance related bonus no weekends, closed all bank holidays and closed between christmas and new year up to 33 days paid holiday (depending on time serviced) £1000 signing on bonus.
