Electronic assembler - united states, lincoln
adecco is assisting a local client in lincoln, ri recruiting for electronic assemblers. this position for first shift 6:55amm-2:25pm. starting pay is $15-$17/hour range based on experience.
the electronic assembler positions will be required to assemble precision sockets used in the placement of image sensors, optoelectronic and gas sensors, power converters, batteries, crystal oscillators, fuses, relays, and other electronic devices onto pc boards (we do not place our sockets on pc boards or solder). this assembly involves very small components and requires detailed work. we are looking for transferable skills using small parts such as computer board assembly, jewelry assembly and the like.
primary responsibilities
· follow detailed assembly instructions, processes and procedures
· comply with policies, guidelines and regulatory requirements
· completes all administrative functions relating to business or regulatory requirements
· report problems with quality, processes, equipment and materials to production supervisor
· provide hands on job function training to coworkers as needed
· maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions
· assist other departments are necessary

· ability to read and comprehend procedures written in english
· good written and oral communication skills

physical demands
· ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, reach within hands and arm’s length, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
· ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
· specific vision requirements include close vision and color vision
· good hand eye coordination
